Selected researchers will also benefit from a seal of excellence and unique visibility through the Binational Center.
The Inria International Chairs (IIC) program is open to a wide range of scientists. There are two application categories to suit different career paths:
-
IIC “Starting Career”: aimed at permanent researchers with between 5 and 12 years of experience after defending their doctoral thesis. It allows for a flexible stay of 6 to 9 months, spread over a period of 3 years, in an Inria team in France. It is an excellent opportunity for those seeking to establish solid international collaborations at a crucial stage in their career.
-
IIC “Advanced Career”: aimed at internationally renowned permanent researchers. It allows for a flexible stay of 10 to 12 months, to be carried out over a period of 5 years in an Inria team in France.
