The call for the Inria International Chairs is open!

Attracting the best scientists, from all backgrounds, remains a basic tenet of the Institute's policy. The Inria International Chairs program is open and seeks to attract the best international scientists to Inria.
Inria wishes to encourage long stays - from several weeks to a year - of scientists posted in international institutions in its research teams in France and give them greater visibility, by operating the "Inria International Chairs" (IIC) program of international chairs.
Since 2023, the program is open to a wider audience by proposing to distinguish between two ways for applying to the program:
- IIC « Starting Career » (5 to 10 years of experience): is intended for permanent researchers who have been engaged in research activities for 5 to 10 years after the thesis defense allows a stay of 6 to 9 months over 3 years
- IIC « Advanced Career » : is intended for permanent researchers of international renown allows a stay of 10 to 12 months over 5 years.
