Development and Implementation of a Strategic Control Panel for the Bus Monitoring Center (CMB) of the Executive Secretariat of the Metropolitan Public Transport Directory (DTPM).

The general objective of this project was the development of a software that would provide an overview of traffic and the critical points of the 34 communes in which the current Metropolitan Public Transport System operates, which allows viewing such information on multiple interfaces. that the CMB has and, in particular, on a 4K and touch screen that was installed in his crisis room.

The developed platform has four sections:

  • Real-time monitoring dashboard: main visualization where a map of Santiago with geolocated data is presented. The displayed data can be dynamic (for example: main axis speeds, incidents, alerts and bus positions) or static, also called context or consolidated data (for example: traffic light network, regulation points and terminals).
  • Indicator panel: set of graphs and tables that present the user with the main indicators of the transport system.
  • Historical mode: interface that allows the user to reproduce past scenarios.
  • Reports: section where the user can download tables with the different types of data stored on the platform.
